Relics

Relics aren't their own kind of Gear, they're a fact layered on top of one. A Relic might be Hardware, might be Contraband, but there's only ever one of it in existence, and the Relics registry is where you can see who holds each one.

Example: the fox-eyed traveler. Weathered top hat, one eye missing behind an old monocle, fur gone grey with wear. Nothing about it was designed to look new. That's the point. This is what a Relic looks like once someone's actually been carrying it a while, not fresh off a mint.

The confirmed records live on the Relics registry page, one entry per Relic: what it is, how it's built, and who holds it now. Nothing appears there until it's real.
