We call them Shadows because nobody has a better word yet. No account of one has been confirmed. What exists instead is a handful of reports, and they don't agree.

Most say there's nothing to worry about. A shape at the edge of a Nexus, gone by the time anyone looks straight at it. Standard advice: leave them be, they leave you be.

One report doesn't match the others. It describes a Cyfur who went looking for a closer look and came back different, unwilling to say what happened, unwilling to go back. That account has not been explained and has not been dismissed either.

Until one of these is confirmed, both stay on record. Go carefully.
